Wichita Wichita State University president Don Beggs plans to resign from the school.
Wichita State said in a news release Monday that Beggs will resign once the Kansas Board of Regents finds a successor, who is expected to be in place by next summer.
The 70-year-old Beggs has been Wichita State’s president since January 1999.
