Incumbent Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer moves on to general election

? Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer appears to be a strong favorite to retain his job.

Unofficial results from Tuesday’s primary show Brewer got 76 percent of the vote. District advisory board member Darrell Leffew was a distant second with 9 percent of the votes. They will compete in the April 5 general election.
