Thursday is the deadline to make reservations for this weekend’s De Soto High School all-alumni dinner.

The dinner, which costs $14, begins at 6 p.m. Saturday at De Soto VFW. To make reservations, call Kay McDaniel, (913) 585-1902.

A social hour is planned for 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a four-hour dance. Tickets for the dance are $5 in advance with a dinner reservation or $10 at the door.

Proceeds from all events go toward a scholarship for DHS seniors, sponsored by the DHS Alumni Association, De Soto VFW and De Soto Women’s Auxiliary.

All DHS graduates are invited, and people who graduated 25 and 50 years ago will receive special recognition.
