? A collection of sculptures made from Legos will go on display this summer at Washburn University’s Mulvane Art Museum.

The Topeka school said in a news release that the public can attend a special preview of 28 sculptures created by New York-based artist Nathan Sawaya on the evening of June 17. The exhibit officially opens June 18, and the sculptures will remain on display through Sept. 18.

Sawaya has been featured on several talk shows, including “The Today Show,” “Late Night with David Letterman” and “The Colbert Report.”

Admission to the exhibit is free. Besides viewing the sculptures, visitors also will get a chance to create their own Lego masterpiece in the museum’s ArtLab.
