Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to visit K-State

? Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will be part of the Landon series at Kansas State University, but she will not be delivering a lecture.

The university announced Monday that Sotomayor will answer questions from three interviewers during a forum on Jan. 27. The Manhattan Mercury reports that the previous 157 Landon appearances have all been lectures.

Jackie Hartman, chairwoman of the series, says two federal judges and a representative of the student body will be selected to question the justice.

Sotomayor was sworn in as justice on the court in August, 2009.
