Overland Park ? Talk about messing up an order.

A customer at an Overland Park KFC ordered some food on Sunday and ended up with a bag full of money instead.

The 21-year-old man didn’t realize the mistake until he got home, and promptly called police.

The Kansas City Star reported Friday that as the man and an officer were driving back to the restaurant, a dispatcher reported that an employee had mistakenly given the bank deposit to a customer.

Police say the man returned all the money — and then got his food.

The man asked police not to publicly identify him.
