Topeka ? Topeka police were called to settle a fight that erupted between adults celebrating separate birthday parties at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant.

Capt. Bill Cochran said that officers responded to the child-oriented restaurant Saturday night after a disturbance started inside and spilled out into the parking lot.

Cochran said the fight began when two families hosting their own birthday events had a disagreement. He did not specify what the disagreement was about. Adults from both parties then began fighting inside the restaurant and in the parking lot.

Police were able to disperse the crowd. They also issued citations for fighting and disorderly conduct.
