Missouri woman found guilty in 2000 murder in Park City
Wichita ? A Missouri woman has been convicted of killing a Kansas man in 2000 by injecting him with a lethal dose of insulin.
A Sedgwick County jury took only a half-hour Wednesday to convict Sharon Huddleston of first-degree murder in the death of Todd Stover in Park City. His body was found in a ditch in Greenwood County in May 2000.
Prosecutors say Huddleston killed Stover because she was angry that he wouldn’t help her find a job.
Huddleston’s sister, Rhonda Pischel, will go on trial in May for first-degree murder in Stover’s death. The sisters were living in Joplin, Mo., when they were arrested in July.
