Two 20-year-olds killed in rollover crash

? Two 20-year-olds are dead after being involved in a one-car, rollover crash north of Topeka.

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as Topeka residents Yasmin Lopez and John Miller.

Both occupants of a white Honda Accord were ejected from the vehicle when it crashed about 8 p.m. Friday.

The northbound car crossed into the southbound lanes, then entered a ditch, struck a utility pole and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was pronounced dead upon arrival at a Topeka hospital.

Sheriff’s officials say Lopez was believed to have been driving, and neither victim was wearing a seat belt.
