Wichita ? Wichita police say a couple died in a murder-suicide.

The Wichita Eagle reports that 68-year-old Leonard Nachbor shot his wife, 62-year-old Beverly Nachbor, at their home. He then shot himself.

The deaths were discovered Sunday evening after the couple’s son in Kansas City told police that his father had called and said he shot his wife and was going to shoot himself.

Police say the couple was going through what was thought to be an amicable divorce, and it was unclear what prompted the shootings. The couple had been married for six years. No one else was in the home.
