Derby student in altercation over sagging pants

? A Kansas high school student says school resource officers hit him with a Taser and broke his arm after he refused to pull up his pants.

The Wichita Eagle reports that Derby police say 17-year-old Jonathan Villarreal resisted and swore at the officers on Wednesday near Derby High School after being told to pull up his sagging pants.

Villarreal says he refused to pull up his jeans because school was out. He claims officers broke his arm and gave him a black eye during the scuffle, and used a Taser because he kept trying to get up.

Derby Police Chief Robert Lee says Villarreal swore at the officers and refused to go back inside the school. He says the Taser was used after Villarreal became aggressive. Police are investigating.
