Junction City ? Police in Junction City are investigating the shooting death of a Fort Riley soldier.

KMAN-AM reports the 24-year-old woman was found dead Tuesday evening at her apartment in Junction City. Officers went to the home on a report of a shooting and found the soldier had been shot once.

Police said foul play was not suspected, but an autopsy is planned and the death will be investigated further.

The soldier’s name is being withheld while her family members are notified.
