Men plead guilty in mortgage scheme

? Two men have pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan., to mortgage fraud.

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said 26-year-old Richard Ngek, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and 27-year-old Eric Rabicoff, of Hutchinson, were charged in connection with the $3 million mortgage fraud.

Rabicoff pleaded guilty Friday to one count of money laundering, and Ngek to one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering and wire fraud. Sentencing for both men is scheduled for Dec. 27.
