Wichita — A Kansas woman has been sentenced to more than nine years in prison for the beating death of her 3-month-old son in the infant’s hospital room.
Megan Mott of Great Bend pleaded guilty earlier to second-degree murder in Robbie Cox’s February 2008 death in his room at Wesley Medical Center. The infant had been hospitalized for several months with a respiratory virus.
Hospital staff found the baby in his crib with three skull fractures.
