Kansas City, Kan. ? A Kansas City, Kan., father has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of his toddler son.

It was reported that the charge was filed Friday in Wyandotte County District Court against 34-year-old Luis Enrique Luevano.

Two-year-old Juan Luevano was hurt May 7. He died the next day, a short time after he was admitted to Kansas University Medical Center.

Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome A. Gorman alleges that Luevano unintentionally but recklessly killed his son.

His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
