New Strawn ? A woman and two children have died in a crash on U.S. 75 in eastern Kansas’ Coffey County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victims as 7-year-old Lexi Tolbert, 4-year-old Payton Devoe and 28-year-old Kris Devoe. All three were from the small town of Colony.

The victims were passengers in a sport utility vehicle that crashed into the back of a dump truck Friday. The patrol says the truck was stopped on U.S. 75 as its driver attempted to turn onto a county road.

Four other occupants of the SUV were taken to hospitals for treatment, but the truck’s driver wasn’t injured.
