Member seeks 2nd term on state school board
Topeka ? A western Kansas member of the State Board of Education is running for re-election.
Republican Sally Cauble, of Liberal, filed Friday for a second term in the 5th District, which covers 43 counties in western and north-central Kansas. She’s the first candidate in her district to begin campaigning.
Four years ago, Cauble won a Republican primary over incumbent Connie Morris, of St. Francis, a conservative who backed anti-evolution science testing standards.
