It’s never too soon to start thinking about the fruits of sunshine and warmer weather.

Eric Youngquist, manager of the Perry-Lecompton Farmers’ Market, is having a meeting for anyone interested in participating. The meeting is scheduled for Jan. 17, a change from the originally planned date. The meeting will be held at Perry Elementary School, 405 Cedar St.
