Salina ? Salina police say an 11-year-old boy has been arrested after he allegedly took a knife to school and threatened another student.

Salina Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield told KSAL radio that the boy stole a pocketknife and took it to Sunset Elementary School this week. Mansfield says the boy allegedly told two other students that he planned to stab a third student.

The boy was arrested after the students alerted school officials. No one was injured.

The boy’s name was not released because of his age.
