Wichita State University’s new Center for Innovation and Enterprise Engagement to help composites industry

? Wichita State University is creating a new center to help businesses that make composites and advanced materials.

The school says in a news release that the Center for Innovation and Enterprise Engagement will provide engineering support, workforce training and business planning.

Engineering Dean Zulma Toro-Ramos says businesses will get assistance implementing new manufacturing processes and improving existing processes.

Government grants will help pay for the center, which will also receive payments for the services it provides.
