Wyandotte County inmate from Arkansas hangs himself in jail cell
Kansas City, Kan. ? A 43-year-old Arkansas man being held in the Wyandotte County Adult Detention Center is dead after apparently hanging himself with a sheet.
Wyandotte County officials say Joseph Wilhm was being held on an out-of-state warrant for driving under the influence. He was found in his jail cell at 7:48 p.m. Friday by a deputy who was conducting a check of jail cells.
The Sheriff’s Office says Wilhm was found with a sheet tied around his neck.
