As part of this year’s Wellsville Days celebrations, a family 5K run and walk event will be held on Sept. 18. The event is a fundraiser for the Wellsville High School Booster Club After Prom Party.

The race starts at 8:30 a.m. at 507 Main St., Wellsville. Registration is $20 and must be postmarked no later than Sept. 3 for those wanting to receive a T-shirt.

Overall winners for the male and female division win a $25 prize and medals go to the top three finishers in each age group.
