Topeka Attorney General Steve Six has made record recoveries for consumers and of Medicaid fraud, according to his office’s latest annual report.
“When the Attorney General’s Office is freed from politics, it can concentrate on enforcing the law and doing the right for Kansas,” Six said.
The Consumer Division recovered $17.3 million for the past fiscal year. Since taking office, Six has recovered more than $30 million, which is more than the previous 13 years combined.
And a record $22 million in Medicaid fraud was recovered, his office reported.
