Liberty Hall to show coal-plant movie

A film entitled “Dirty Business: ‘Clean Coal’ and the Battle for Our Energy Future” will be shown next week at Liberty Hall, 644 Mass.

The screening will be at 7 p.m. Monday and will also feature a question-and-answer period with representatives of environmental groups involved in the debate over the proposed 895-megawatt coal-fired plant in southwest Kansas.

The film was produced by the Center for Investigative Reporting. The event is free and open to the public.
