— State Rep. Marti Crow of Leavenworth says she will retire from the Kansas House at the end of her term.

Crow, a Democrat, has represented the 41st District since 1997. She says she wants to become more involved in Leavenworth activities, spend time with her family and travel.

Among her many standing committee assignments, Crow served 12 years on the Judiciary and Education committees.

A previous version of this story misidentified Marti as being a state senator.
