No decision on education suit

? A coalition of Kansas school districts has put off a decision on whether to sue the state over education funding.

Members of Schools for Fair Funding met Friday in Newton. They emerged from an executive session with attorneys and voted to meet again Dec. 18 in Salina.

The nonprofit coalition represents 57 school districts with 147,000 students.

The organization wants to use the next month to get information to other school districts that have expressed interest in Schools for Fair Funding in hopes of gaining more members.
