Second man arrested in connection with August robbery

A second man was arrested Wednesday in connection with an attempted robbery in August that ended when two men were shot by the man they attempted to rob.

The 20-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man arrested Wednesday was booked on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. The arrest was made at 12:30 p.m. at the Jackson County, Mo., jail.

The incident occurred Aug. 26 at Easy Living mobile home park, 3323 Iowa. The 24-year-old robbery victim who shot two subjects was not arrested or charged.

Wednesday’s arrest was the second made in connection with the case. A police report indicates five people may have been involved in the attempted robbery.
