A bucket of nails fell onto Interstate 70 near Kansas City, Kan., causing havoc for people who are heading eastbound into the Kansas City area, a Kansas City, Kan., news site is reporting.
The Kansas City Kansan reports that multiple cars have received flat tires after driving over the nails. Police and emergency officials are advising motorists to stay off I-70 eastbound if possible.
As of 4 p.m., KDOT had arrived to try and clean up the nails and to render assistance to at least 7 cars that were damaged, the Kansan reported.
