Kansas City, Mo. ? The curator at Kansas City’s Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art has taken a job in Salina.

Chris Cook has been named executive director/curator of the Salina Art Center in central Kansas. He starts his new post on July 1.

Kemper plans a national search for his replacement but might name an interim curator.

The 34-year-old joined Kemper in 2006 as assistant curator and was promoted in 2007.
