Wichita ? A federal grand jury in Wichita has indicted a former Steelworkers union secretary on charges of embezzling union funds.

The U.S. attorney’s office announced the indictment against Daryl D. Becker of McPherson in a news release Thursday.

The 56-year-old McPherson man is the former financial secretary of Steelworkers Local 558 in McPherson.
