Fla. professor charged with enticing child

Ford County authorities have charged a Florida State University music professor with using the Internet to entice a child to commit an illegal sex act.

Ford County sheriff’s investigator George Brown said James H. Nalley II was arrested April 28 in Tallahassee, Fla., and brought to Ford County on May 1 to stand trial on five counts of electronic solicitation. He made his first appearance this week and was ordered not to leave the state without permission.

He’s charged with contacting a girl under the age of 16 five times between March and April 2008 and asking her to commit an illegal sex act. Brown said the Nalley’s contact with the victim occurred in Ford County.
