Law enforcement report

• A 52-year-old Basehor man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Kansas Highway 7, just south of Johnson Drive, in Shawnee. Kevin R. Bennett was driving southbound on K-7 when his 1997 Mercury passenger car hit a tire and went airborne, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. His car came to rest on the right shoulder of the road. He was transported to Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Merriam, where he was treated and released. No information was available about the extent of his injuries.
