Fire update
Fire investigators have classified the cause of a house fire at 1946 Clifton Court as “undetermined,” Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical said Tuesday.
The fire started about 12:15 p.m. Friday, causing minor injuries to an occupant of the home and to a firefighter. Three cats died in the fire.
The single-family home appeared to be a total loss and the fire caused about $150,000 in damage, fire officials said.
