— Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer will deliver the keynote address at the Kansas Democratic Party’s annual Washington Days celebration in Topeka.

The event will take place Feb. 27 at the Downtown Ramada Inn. Banquet doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Schweitzer, a veteran farmer and rancher, was elected governor in 2004 and re-elected in 2008 with 65 percent of the vote. He gained national attention after his speech to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver.

Recent Washington Days speakers include Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine, President Clinton and President Obama.

Tickets are available through Feb. 24 through the state Democratic Party’s website, www.ksdp.org.

What's he going to talk about? What did he talk about at the convention in Denver? How much are the tickets? Again, I have more questions than answers after reading this article. If I wanted to be teased, I'd go to a caberet! Give me some substance next time, please.
