KDHE plans conference to discuss strategies for a healthier Kansas
Topeka ? National, regional and local health officials are gathering this week in Topeka to develop strategies for making Kansans healthier.
The three-day conference opening Tuesday is called “Cultivating Healthy Kansans.” It’s sponsored by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s Bureau of Health Promotion.
Speakers will focus on a range of topics, including disease self-management, quality of care and community planning. Sessions are also planned on obesity and diabetes.
