Wichita ? A Wichita priest has been charged with lewd and lascivious behavior and other misdemeanors after being arrested last week in a prostitution sting.

Five men and two women were arrested in the Aug. 7 sting operation in Oak Park, including the Rev. Leslie “Doug” Campbell. The 64-year-old priest serves at St. Jude’s Catholic Church.

The charges against Campbell also include misdemeanor public nudity and being in the park after hours.

The diocese says Campbell has been temporarily relieved of his duties at the church and will receive counseling.

His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 27.
