The Kansas National Guard will display some of its vehicles and equipment near the Kansas Speedway during this weekend’s racing activities in Wyandotte County.

Guard members throughout the state will converge on Cabela’s to set up displays. Featured will be a Special Forces shooting trailer, a Black Hawk helicopter, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, multiple launch rocket systems, trucks and meteorological equipment.

The Guard also will set up a climbing wall and a mechanical bull. The Guard rock band, “Section 8,” will perform for a parking lot party at 6:30 p.m. today and Saturday, with another show at noon Saturday.
