Sebelius chats with soldiers in Iraq

? Gov. Kathleen Sebelius spent time this week chatting with a group of soldiers from Fort Riley who are deployed to Iraq.

The governor visited by video teleconference with about 45 soldiers from the 1st Sustainment Brigade stationed at Camp Taji, Iraq.

Col. Kevin O’Connell with the brigade asked Sebelius to have the conversation with his soldiers, who have been deployed for 11 months. Sebelius updated them on all the construction activities at Fort Riley, including barracks, family housing and new headquarters for the 1st Infantry Division.
