3 tornadoes reported in south-central Kan.

? Severe storms packing tornadoes and hail hit Kansas on Monday evening, but there were no early reports of damage or injuries, authorities said.

The National Weather Service said preliminary reports showed two tornadoes swept through Pratt County and one hit Kiowa County in south-central Kansas.

“We’re estimating at least three tornadoes tonight,” said Mike Bell, meteorologist for the weather service office in Dodge City. He said the tornadoes were reported between 6 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.

The Pratt County Sheriff’s Department said the tornadoes came within about two miles of Pratt, but did not hit the town. The department said no damage or injuries were reported.

There were also additional reports of 2.75 inch hail in Hodgeman County earlier in the afternoon.
