Kansas Attorney General Steve Six announced Wednesday that his office has shut down Elite Escapes International LLC, a travel company suspected of deceptive business practices.

The out-of-state company has been offering vacation travel club services to Kansans through telemarketing and presentations in hotels in Overland Park and Wichita.

Six encourages those who may have attended one of the presentations to contact the Consumer Protection Division at (800) 432-2310.
