Downtown Lawrence elects officers for ’08
Downtown Lawrence Inc. has elected officers for 2008:
¢ Dan Hughes, of Sunflower Outdoor and Bike Shop, president.
¢ Chris Burger, of Stevens & Brand, treasurer.
¢ Peter Zacharias, of Goldmakers, secretary.
Joining the board for a three-year term is David Johanning, of The Sandbar. Continuing as board members are Judy Billings, of the Lawrence Convention & Visitors Bureau; and Mary Cox, of Shark’s Surf Shop.
The board also appointed committee chairs: Billings, for marketing and promotions; Zacharias, for expansion and retention; Johanning, for special events; Burger, for the annual meeting; and Cox, for beautification.
