Kansas City, Kan. ? Authorities have captured an inmate who escaped Monday from the Wyandotte County Jail.

Isidro Torres-Noguez was captured Saturday morning after a pursuit that started in Kansas and crossed briefly into Missouri.

He initially was jailed Nov. 21 for failing to appear on traffic charges and for possible immigration violations. Two traffic charges had been resolved, and he was waiting to learn his sentence in a third traffic case.

The immigration hold was to make sure he was in the U.S. legally.
