Historical portrayal rescheduled for March

The program Sara Robinson Attends the Lecompton Ball will now be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Constitution Hall.

The program was originally scheduled for Feb. 17 but was canceled because of bad weather.

Sara Robinson Attends the Lecompton Ball will feature first-person portrayal and period clothing by Lesa Brose, Molly Ledeboer and Dianna Welsh, who are living history educators and period dressmakers.

At 2 p.m. this Sunday, Danger at My Very Door: Betsy Hoole’s Southern View of Kansas Territory will be performed. It is a first-person portrayal by Michelle Martin. Martin formed Discovering History LLC to pursue her interests in historical research and consulting.
