Topeka ? Kansas Democrats say Greg Orman has dropped out of the U.S. Senate race against incumbent Republican Pat Roberts.

Mike Gaughan, executive director of the Kansas Democratic Party, said Saturday that Orman, 39, told party officials of his decision last week.

Orman’s exit leaves only 56-year-old Lee Jones, of Overland Park, as the Democratic challenger to Roberts.
