If weather permits, the Kansas Department of Transportation will temporarily close lanes on Interstate 435 in Johnson County.

From 6:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, the two right westbound interstate lanes will close just past State Line and the left eastbound lane will close just past Roe Avenue. The lane closures are part of a sign repair project for the Kansas City Scout traffic management system.

During the temporary lane closures, the transportation department advises drivers to expect major delays and use alternate routes.
