Douglas County legislators will participate in a forum before the upcoming legislative session. The forum will be at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Dole Institute of Politics.

The event, sponsored by the Lawrence branch of the American Association of University Women, is free and open to the public. Audience members will be able to ask questions of legislators.

The 2009 legislative session starts Jan. 12.
