Jefferson County ? An Ozawkie man was killed in a one-car accident early Thursday in Jefferson County.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Blane L. Cook, 23.

Cook was driving a Dodge Neon north in the 9100 block of Ferguson Road when the car left the road, struck a culvert, became airborne and overturned, according to the sheriff’s report. Cook was ejected.

The accident was discovered and reported by a passerby at 2 a.m. Cook was pronounced dead at the scene.
