Members of the Douglas County Bar Association will have a memorial service Nov. 30 for former Lawrence attorney George Allen.

The service will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the Division I courtroom of the Douglas County Judicial and Law Enforcement Center, 111 E. 11th St.

Allen practiced law in Lawrence for more than 40 years and was a longtime member of the bar association. He died Sept. 5 at age 93.
