Mulberry ? A mobile home fire in southeast Kansas killed one person and injured another, authorities said.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department said the fire was reported about 11 a.m. Sunday in Mulberry. When members of the Mulberry Fire Department arrived, they were told a family member didn’t make it out of the single-wide trailer, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Another member of the family was flown to a Springfield, Mo., hospital with burn injuries.

The Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating, and the cause is not yet known.
