Authorities in Tonganoxie and Leavenworth County were still on the lookout for a suspect in a sexual assault incident Wednesday.

Errol Mustafa Sutton was last spotted by a Tonganoxie police officer Friday morning but has since managed to elude officers after, Topeka police believe, he tried to kill a woman he was suspected of assaulting.

A Leavenworth County emergency dispatcher said Saturday night that authorities were still looking for Sutton.

The search for Sutton disrupted schools in Leavenworth County, which took extra security precautions Friday after an officer spotted who he thought may have been Sutton near Tonganoxie High School.

When the officer investigated, the man was nowhere to be found but a stolen vehicle was recovered in the parking lot.
